The "Define Framework" button has been replaced
Everything you used to see when you hit "Define Framework" is now in the "Strategy Model". The only exception is Goal Weights, which we've explained below.
Customize your terminology in the Strategy Model
When you were originally setting up your strategy framework, you might have customized your terminology (e.g. changing "Focus Areas" to "Strategic Pillars"). Now, instead of doing that from the Planner screen in "Define Framework" > "Labels", you'll do it by clicking the "Strategy Model" button. Then you can just make your changes directly by clicking on the term in the map view!
Units are now in the Strategy Model
If you want to add or change the units you use to track your progress (e.g. $, %, people, chickens), that's not in "Define Framework" > "Goal Units" on the Planner screen anymore. Now, from the Planner, just hit "Strategy Model" and then the "Unit" tab, and there you are! The tool itself has been updated to be a more user-friendly table view, where you can actually just click on the Unit Name or Unit Type you want to change and edit it right there.
Goal Weights are now Custom Fields you add in the Strategy Model
Previously, you defined your Goal Weights in "Define Framework" > "Goal Weights". Now it's a lot more powerful. You can decide to add "Weight" individually to whichever Goal templates you like - just go to the template in Plan>Strategy Model under "Table View", choose your Template then click "Add Attribute", and look in "Existing Attributes": it'll be there for you to select.
Creating and editing Updates, Tasks, and Risks now happens in pop-ups
Up until now, when you created or edited an Update, Task, or Risk, the form was embedded in the Goal Hub page. Now it appears in a pop-up window, giving you a clearer, less busy screen to work with, but using all the same tools.
You don't have to see the Update, Task, and Risk options in your Goals
In line with giving you all the templates and custom fields you need to create your Strategy Model, we're also giving you the ability to hide the things you don't need. If you don't need to use Updates, Tasks, or Risks, you can turn one or more of them off. Just disable the ones you don't want in Plan>Strategy Model under "Table View", and really focus the view your team sees.
